SEPTEMBER 1: ST. PETERSBURG - A second full day to explore this great city, and there is plenty to do! Copenhagen has grown from a quaint fishing village in the 12th century to a center of commercial and cultural importance today. Enjoy the Nyhavn district, a longtime seafarer's favorite filled with fun shops and cafes, See Copenhagen's new opera house and the Royal Palace residence of the Queen complete with changing of the guards, the famous Tivoli Gardens, and the equally famous Little Mermaid Statue.
